Nastya May, a therapist in at High Rockies Counseling in Colorado smiles for the camera in front of a wooden planked wall

Nastya May, LPCC

Nastya May is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado. With a background in education and a deep compassion for helping others, Nastya brings valuable experience into her work with adolescents and adults navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and body image concerns.

Nastya meets each client with authenticity, respect, warmth, and empathy. Nastya uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and feminist therapy—especially when supporting individuals impacted by abuse, trauma, or societal pressures. She believes in helping clients externalize their struggles, recognizing that current difficulties often reflect what has happened to them, not what’s wrong with them.

Nastya supports individuals’ healing journeys by facilitating a safe space in which they can understand more about who they are, what they value most, and learn how to overcome challenges.

When she's not in session, Nastya enjoys hiking Colorado’s Rainbow Trail with her two dogs (and sometimes her cat, too!), gardening, practicing yoga, and getting lost in a good mystery audiobook

Mick Lindquist, Counselor-in-Training

My name is Mick, and I am currently enrolled at Adams State University, pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After spending much of my professional life in the construction industry, I felt called to shift my career toward something that allowed me to help others in a deeper, more meaningful way.

My own positive experiences in both individual and group therapy inspired me to become a counselor and help others experience the growth and healing I experienced firsthand. I bring warmth, empathy, and a genuine respect for each client’s journey into every session. My hope is that my personal experience and ability to connect with others will help clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they work toward their goals. When I’m not counseling, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife, our two young boys, and our Golden Retriever, Chuck, exploring the beauty of the Rockies together.
