Group Counseling
Group Counseling Sign-Up
We are now offering groups through our master’s level counseling interns. Our current group, “Support for Caregivers”, is a 12-week group, held weekly for 90-minutes. These group sessions provide a safe and confidential space for anyone who is in a caregiver role that needs support. You will gain coping skills for managing caregiver stress, techniques for burnout prevention and compassion fatigue, information about common challenges faced by caregivers, and more. This is an opportunity to connect with others in the community who are experiencing similar challenges related to caregiving.
Groups will start the week of February 2nd, 2025. Please see options for days, times, and locations and select your preference in the form below. We can accept up to 6 group members at our Buena Vista location, and 8 members at our Salida/virtual location. Group cost is $5 per week. If you have Medicaid insurance, your cost is $0 with proof of active Medicaid insurance.
Interested in participating? Please fill out the contact form below. **Sessions are based on interest and availability. Please select your preferred time. Groups require a minimum of three participants to run, and scheduling is subject to sufficient enrollment.

She earned her International Baccalaureate from The Royal High School in Bath, England—the alma mater of The Princess of Wales’s private secretary, Rebecca English—and later returned to the U.S. to earn her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
During the pandemic, Rebecca trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant and went on to work for Vail Health Hospital in both the Family Birth Center and Patient Care Unit, where she was nominated for the prestigious Elevate Award for exceptional care.

Mick Lindquist
Mick is currently enrolled at Adams State University, pursuing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After spending much of his professional life in the construction industry, he felt called to shift his career toward something that allowed him to help others in a deeper, more meaningful way.
His own positive experiences in both individual and group therapy inspired him to become a counselor and help others experience the growth and healing he experienced firsthand. He brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine respect for each client’s journey into every session. His hope is that his personal experience and ability to connect with others will help clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they work toward their goals. Mick specializes in Christian Counseling, helping clients integrate their faith into healing, growth, and emotional wellness. When he’s not counseling, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, their two young boys, and their Golden Retriever, Chuck, exploring the beauty of the Rockies together.
